I tend to think it *is* accidental, but we've evolved to find it good.

We have water at its triple point, and that makes rivers, clouds, fog, snow, ice, rainbows. Water is itself a very cool chemical.
Our atmosphere is thick enough to support flight but clear enough to see the stars.
Gravity is just right for playing tennis but not being squashed flat.
Radiation levels are not deadly.
Not bad.

Our ancestors have lived here for a couple of billion years. About 500 million years ago they had evolved to the point where they could move about.
It's not exactly surprising that subsequent evolution has left us well-adapted to this environment.
A few of us have got the point where we can appreciate what was going on while we got there. Some haven't.
