In case of planes a system for pilot and one for the copilot You can, in flight, select the other one if one displays errors.

Sure, but when you encounter a paragraph which reads like (not an exact quote) "A digital engine controller is a system consisting of a digital computer, called an "electronic engine controller" (EEC) or "engine control unit" (ECU)" then you know that you may be about to read material written by an individual whose knowledge of what they are describing is possibly a little lacking.

You don't have to be an actual engine control expert to figure that out.

Wiki is a public site, so can assume that most people need a basic introduction, a definition of what FADEC means.
