Well, please don't forget it was Cheney/Dubya who gave us Homeland "Security" (who started strip-searching American Citizens at the airports), violated every law in the world by torturing "suspects", and instituted warrantless wire-tapping and DOG knows what other violations of the Constitution.

When I was a kid, it was a time to leave a little basket (like an Easter basket) at the doorstep of some girl we had our eye on. I've looked up "May day" on Wiki, and it sounds like it's morphed into a redundant labor day.

I've already addressed the rightists: 9/11, which gave Cheney/Dubya an excuse to go on a unilateral invasion which he called a "war". (Gimme a war! ANY War!) I'd sure like to see the Congressional declaration of war, if there is one.

But then Congress got loaded with Democrats, who, much to everyone's dismay, started rubber-stamping the Cheney/Dubya funding for the crusade.

Hmm - I think I've pissed off both wings with this post - this is pretty much a verification that I'm right. >;->

In Arizona we do rodeo in January/February.
