When I worked "high end audio retail" it seemed like there were a few distributors that liked to engage in what we called "advanced sales prevention" tactics, like say refusing to drop ship $4000 worth of gear to a well-respected customer of ours on a deadline because there was some minor technical issue with our dealer license agreement and "it'll take a few days to process the new form."

ng at my inventory all I have is some through hole INA111 that still have B urr-Brown stamped on them (probably bought them in the mid 90s)...time to u pgrade my stock!
ly there seems to be a trade off between V and I input offsets, but these c hips have good values for both. I even noticed the MAX4209 is in the table in AoE 3rd Ed. page 363 (I also just noticed John Larkin is mentioned by n ame in this chapter). This chip is much cheaper than the others and has so me of the best specs...what am I missing? I have had colleagues in the pas t recommend not designing in Maxim chips, but I can't remember why. I've o nly ever used their 232 and 485 transceivers (and they have been very relia ble).
d an alternative? I'm hoping for similar performance under $4 in quantitie s of 1000.
and that's why Intel started using names instead of numbers

Kid names are hard because if you go with the Biblical standards these days you're thought to be uncreative and low-effort, while if you go hipster whack-out you're thought to be attention-seeking and "tryhard", and your kid is going to change it anyway after you name him "Corvid" and a decade of being called "Corbin Dallas Multipass" by his peers.
Preteens are very creative at thinking up unflattering nicknames.
"Penny" seems like a reasonable compromise. "Benny"? "Fenny"? I don't know, I got nothin'.
My mother was strongly influenced by someone that could have, since that person was born sometime around 1830-1840. (Mother born 1921, other person was almost a centenarian, dying when my mother was ~10yo. Lazarus Long territory).
You're much less likely to catch something on Usenet, by all accounts.
Cheers
