LT Spice problem

I lack some of the models, and I'm running an old version, but after I made some substitutions, it didn't crash. Maybe the problem lies in one of those models.

Your two AC input pins have the same label, so the input is shorted.

Well... the immediate point is u1 is calling for "741" but you have the subckt called "UA741"

The names don't match!

  • the u1 message pops up BEFORE i added the subckt called "UA741".
  • and if i change that to .SUBCKT U1 1 2 3 4 5 i still get unknown schematic syntax

Move the cursor over the body of the GV3S800-diode. Press the CTRL-key and right-mouse-click. A window with all the attributes will pop-up. One line is Prefix: D Change the D to X Prefix: X OK

That's all. Now the simulation will run.

Background info: The reference designators of subcircuits used in a SPICE-netlist have to start with X whereas diodes have to start with D.
