Inverter Amplifier Circuit

I read in sci.electronics.design that Frank Bemelman wrote (in ) about 'Inverter Amplifier Circuit', on Thu, 6 Oct 2005:

There is no law against 'topping' someone's joke, if the 'top' is really witty and not malicious.

I like bilingual jokes, anyway. When I frequented the translators' newsgroup, we found a few trilingual ones.

In connection with the current US TV thing with the British Royals, the Prince of Wales' motto 'Ich dien' is bilingual German/Welsh. 'Ich Dien' means 'I serve', while 'Eich dyn' (pronounced very similarly, by some Welsh people anyway) is 'Your man'.

Hello John,

Depends on the blood alcohol content. Once I barreled down the fiets path from Maastricht, put the gears into 10 and went to full bore. The path really only had one turn to the left and back to the right to go around a group of trees. I missed it...

I knew you would, and Joerg, no doubt. It sort of felt (after hitting the send button) as if I was stealing your joke ;)

Hello Frank,

Well, yes. The tree won by turning my bicycle into a pretzel. When I had collected myself I scooped up some of the pieces. Turned out I wasn't the only one, there were lots of other shattered bicycle parts. The main problem was that I still had around 5 miles to go.
