High temperature electronics to use on the Sun...

Tungsten Electronic Liquid Platform (WELP)... The Sun has a temperature of 5700 K Tungsten has a boiling point of 5828 K Tungsten can be a liquid on the Sun. When impurities are dissolved in a liquid, the boiling point goes up. The liquid will be spinning to keep a structured shape. Impurity concentrations will form electronic components. • WHAT structured shape? Making the ASS-u-ME-umption that there is any given shape at any specific time, the gross magnetic fluctuations as well as the gross movements in the sun's "surface" will swiftly and radically alter that and dissipate any presumed concentration.
  • NOPE!

Do not forget that the sun's energies ("sunspots") were recently severe enough that there was concern that the satellites would be permanently disabled or destroyed..

What will you use for the container?

The shape of the spinning liquid will be a disk. Surface tension will hold = it together. In these early years of WELP development, some questions are s= till unanswered. Innovation has begun. Tungsten Electronic Liquid Platform = is WELP.

A first product will be a radio beacon. The magnetic changes will be harves= ted for energy storage and expenditures in the tungsten circuits. Impurities in the WELP are manufactured in for a solid state deployment to = the sun. The heating activates the circuitry, which melts and give off a ra= dio beacon signal of a billion watts for several seconds as it falls to its= eventual destruction in the sun. During its descent, the radio signal cont= ains information about conditions like hot or cold, moist or dry, etc.

The "sunspots" that you recently touted as being some kind of scary phenome= non are just the tip of the iceberg. The main hurdles that the WELP spacecr= aft would meet are closer to the sun where a plasma is at 99000 degrees. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

The "container" that you imagine to be needed for an electronics system is = composed of a tungsten alloy. The surface tension of the liquid is enhanced= by materials research that is not under way.

The WELP Beacon electronics would be made from a tank oscillator of distrib= uted circuit elements. Triboelectric initialization of oscillations give wa= y to a resonant state for ordinary L and C circuits elements immersed in a = liquid energy storage volume.

The =93starlight=94 that you propose represents a breakthrough in research = efforts. Thank you! I assume you mean that the pressure of the photonic flu= x will be significant in its magnitude. I will check into your proposal.

Sure. Now the only thing missing is building electronics for surface of the sun. Piece of cake.

And then finding a surface once it gets there. The entire Sun behaves very nearly as an ideal gas with different degrees of ionization depending on the local temperature.

Reminds me of the old joke about the space program of the eastern-European-nation-of-your-choice:

"You may have space probes that go to the moon and planets, but we're sending one to land on the Sun."

"But you'll burn up."

"See? We're smarter than you--we're going at night."

Cheers
