Headphone, Line, Microphone levels?

Anyone happen to know the resistors or ratio to drop headphone level to microphone level? Thanks.

You have to know how much attenuation you need.

** There is no specific level for either.

IME, headphone levels vary over a rage of 100:1 and mic levels vary over a rage of 1000:1

Try an attenuation of 100:1 ( 1kohms feed and 10ohms to common) and see how that goes.

Without knowing either device. Taking mic level at around 1 mv, and headphone level at 100 mv, probably 100:1 is a good place to start.

1K to 10ohm "L" seems to work fine. Thanks. Now I just have to be careful that microphone power is never turned on.
