happy pi day!

3.14.2013. We always have pie at work on 3.14, apple and pecan today. My job is to make the whipped cream. I know, it's irrational.

I used to know pi to 100 digits. I can only remember about 20 now.

We're not exactly sure what day I was born. It was in the back seat of a 1936 Ford, on the way to the hospital, on the streetcar track in the intersection of St Charles and Napoleon Avenues, right about midnight. I was almost named Charles Napoleon Larkin.

We did name The Brat for three San Francisco street names.

That worked out pretty well. The whipped cream was a hit. But on the way out at

6PM, I was hoping to nab a leftover slice of pecan pie. No such luck. I think I'll declare 6.28 to be 2pi day.

So, after dinner, I was wanting dessert.

Me: Do you think there's any of that brownie left?

Mo: Look in the back of the fridge, behind the Dead Sea Scrolls.

We had WAY too much pi at work yesterday, but it was GOOD! Our electronics tech had a guitar and harmonica and was singing the digits of Pi!
