I diverted a GRI robot from the dumpster, minus the controls this is a 6 axis 1983 vintage but in nice shape. It uses Atchley 207-1058 hydraulic valves & resolvers. Does anyone know about these? what kind of resolution is possible, The elbow can move 5 ft & the resolver moves one revolution. I would like to interface with PIC 10 bit A/D. On the valves can this driven from H bridge PWM? Some one must have done similar conversions.
