Haha, I only purchased non-linear resistors.

Why? Because they were not linear? Bwuhahahahaha!

I'm out of luck, too. I bought linear resistors alright, but *not* indirectly.

Easy... all resistors are nonlinear.

Yup, I just sent in copies of about 150 invoices, 290K resistors for about $4700. If the lines of Apple, Ford and Dell send in claims, I'm likely to get $10. If the big manufacturers do NOT make claims (maybe because they buy direct from the manufacturer) then maybe I will actually get some money from this.

There is also a capacitor suit in the works, but they are not ready to accept claims yet.

Not optical. Ever heard of "slow light"?

Claims against what? A mal adjusted circuit characteristic?

You get $10 because you own one of those products?

How did it affect a product that ment through its mfgr testing?

Linear resistors?

Or is it like the VW mileage claim where the 'linearity' is claimed to be greater than it actually is...

I guess it is an Arsenio Hall moment.

Issue was price fixing via distribution. Cue bad pun joke about fixed resistors and fixed pricing ...

They had a sliding price scale for pots. :^) GH

Panasonic North America will probably have to pay out more in actual punitive damages than Equifax ever does for leaking half the US population's credit info.

Bet Panasonic wishes there was a Panasonic employee as consumer chair of the FTC, instead of a former Equifax lobbyist who will then return to working for Equifax after his tenure is over lol

Your chances are better than ever seeing any money from Equifax for that data breach settlement, about the same amount of money ($30 million) is what's reserved for cash payments to all 167 million people affected

I would estimate you'll see your check sometime around the year 2027

Yup. I got a couple of letters in the mail asking me to join the class action suit.
