GaN RF Amp Linearizer

Quick question if anyone knows...

Could a linearizer be used on a GaN amplifier that is amplifying more than one RF channel at a time?

For example,

3GPP Band-2 Simultaneous 1940-1950 MHz, and the maybe 1960-1965 MHz? (Both LTE in this example, but what if the higher one were UMTS?)

What I really want to know is A) will this ever work, and B) if it can be m ade to work, how much flexibility is there to swap around spectrum (within a given 3GPP band), and/or modulation? Is a linearizer the sort of thing t hat has to be fine-tuned via software to a known, fixed, power envelope, or does it just sample the output and pre-distort the input without too much fuss?

Does the amp (or modulation?) being linearized need to be continuous, or ca n you fill up the amp with whatever you want?

(Obviously, I'm a newbie when it comes to RF linearizers.) :)

The boss (as near as I can tell) just wants to buy cheap GaN amps and then push more power out of them (and maybe better ACLR?), instead of just buyin g a better, more highly linear amplifier in the first place.

From what I've read about the need for temperature compensation, I'm a litt le worried about blowing these GaN amplifiers up, or having to back-off to protect them (thereby only benefiting from ACLR and efficiency, and not mor e RF output).
