EU sanctions America (US,CA anx MX) gas for US involvement in RU/UA war. By keeping the war going, the US is stopping Russia's take over of Europe and ruining Russia plan of running Europe with cheap oil and gas. Also, the US is forcing all those migrants into cheap labour in America, according to one expert in Australia.
EU imposts limit of 180 E$ for gas, which would be below cost of liqif, transport and gasif of gas. America would have to keep gas in the ground, which is not really a bad idea.
