Epoxy

is the perfect product. Everybody uses twice as much as they actually need.

And why would I buy drugs from someone who can't even spell "Viagra"?

Actually, most cases put it at more like ten times more being made than is needed for any manual application circumstance. Most machine applied processes use just about all that gets made with much less waste, if any at all.

When I mix up silver filled epoxy for a hand applied process, you can bet that we have plans to use all I mix up within the three day pot life period designated for this expensive example of my point. We do pneumatically apply that (precision dispensing) though, so little gets wasted when it is in a syringe.

When I mix up a bit of regular epoxy for staking down a wire or connector, or for attaching tie mounts, I tend to mix up more than I need for the staking operations, and less than I need for the tie mounts. I also tend to allow the tie mount mix firm up a bit before I begin to use it, so I do not have to wait as long on the product or worry about detachment if we happen to move forward before it is completely cured. So there are times when there is more in the tray left than the amount I ended up using because it solidifies pretty quickly once it gets started.
