Will Happer is a physicist who specialised in atomic physics, optics and sp ectroscopy. He seems to have skipped biology, and is happy to tell people t hat more CO2 in the atmosphere is a good thing because plants will grow fas ter, which - despite John Larkin's enthusiasm for this point - isn't the wh ole story.

He's talking to Anthony Watts, who knows even less about climate science, a nd looks exactly like a card-carrying member of the denialist propaganda ma chine.

So - not for the first time - John Larkin has picked up a chunk of denialis t propaganda - designed to appeal to the ignorant and unsophisticated - and reposted it here. I'd feel happier about this if I thought that he got mon ey from the fossil carbon extraction industry for supporting their delaying tactic, but I'm afraid that he's merely a gullible sucker who lacks the cr itical thinking skills to recognise this kind of tendentious rubbish for wh at it is.
