I'm looking over a half bridge switching supply (250W, AT style) and I don't see where the startup current is coming from... there's 330k resistors from collector to base on the output transistors, but that would only add bias, no? Not counting transistor mismatch of course.
Circuit seems to be pretty standard. Uses a KA7500 as most.
