HiI have a (I think so) very innvovative idea (patent pending) about anelectronic device. The potential market is very huge, of course if itworks + can be produced cheaply in mass production.If someone of you would be interested in evaluating it from anelectronic point of you, please E-mail me (pizzi at  Inparticular I'm looking for:1. Uh-Oh!!You know you can only legally claim ("Patent Pending") if you havefiled either a regular or provisional patent application.  If youmerely intend to make such a filing in the future, you cannot legallyclaim patent pending status.Also, I am reasonably sure this prohibition extends to the USPTODocument Disclosure program, but I'm sure someone will correct me if Iam wrong....As for the "Uh-Oh!!" part... if you got to the filing stage, then youshould already have an excellent idea about the very questions youask, and probably even have the idea reduced to practice (??)I suspect you have simply used the term improperly.So, let me give you a few bytes of advice:1 - NEVER build or design anything unless you have customers lined up,or at the very least, have talked with several prospective purchasers.2 - It always costs a lot more and takes a lot longer than you expect- no matter what aspect of the project/venture you are contemplating.3 - The easy part is coming up with the idea. True. You cannot get a patent on an idea. You can only patent a way of doing it.

In order to get a good patent, you need to expect to do a lot of work and study. I have filed some of my own patents. However, I have run into a number of people who should probably let someone else do it for them.
