You may be better off with putting the inductors in series. You can put the extra turn on the primary of one of them.

Extra turn? Ideally I'd like to use catalog parts. Series should also work except then the whole peak current would have to go through all traces to the (primary side) inductors. The secondary is lower current in this case. When parallel the current would divide roughly 50:50.

If you want a no input ripple version of the SEPIC you need the primary side to have more turns than the secondary. If you put two coils in series, you can get the same effect by having them not be identical.

Oh, I see. That's quite nifty. But I'll probably have to eat the ripple because the selection of catalog coils is very slim pickens with my currents.
