I've been pretty happy with the Laird BMI-series two-piece shields, especially the BMI-S-207-F frame and matching BMI-S-207-C cover.



The prices keep going up, though--they're up to $4 for each piece.



Eight bucks for a 44 mm square RF shield box seems a bit much.



What do you folks use for short production runs (preferably distributor parts)?

Looks like somebody else noticed: TE and Leader Tech both recently introduced a drop-in replacement for the 44-mm square Laird ones, at $1.93 for the frame and 50 cents for the lid. Much much better than $7-$8.
