It won't make 1.5 volts into 450 volts. It could in simulation, but not in real life.
50 years ago, we used to use a battery, pushbutton swtich, transformer and spark gap rectifier to power geiger counter tubes.

Well, the issue was whether an inductor, with the mystical incantation of "dI/dT", could turn 1.5 volts into 450DC.
He hired a little troll to sit there with his hammer on the switch repeating that action until the dame output cap reached maturity!

The big problem here is, the op didn't specify how they wanted to handle the resulting voltage!
Was a short pulse needed? if so, then a simple collapse of a coil being drained off through a diode would generate lots of voltage.. But only for that one pulse.
If an accumulated charge was desired, then it would take a few of those cycles to charge up a cap.. etc..
But in short, magnetizing an inductor and then allowing it's collapsed energy to go wildly will do it.
This is how electronics mysteriously gets damaged from transients, load dumps etc..

That is an exacerbation.
I had an old circuit lying around, tried it last night. Got over 100V from 1.5V DC, standard textbook boost converter, small 47uH inductor, BC847, BAT46, large elctrolytic cap.
The NPN transistor to keep the collector capacitances low, has about 3pF output capacitance.
I exceeded the specs for both the diode and transistor and didn't dare go higher, so with careful selection of components I think you can easily get 200V from 1.5V (that's 133:1)

I also tried from 0.5V input voltage, to avoid leakage of the diode and transistor. Got 80V with a 1mH inductor. That's a step up of 160 :-)

During a University course in basic electronics, the prof would take a coil, AA battery, and knife switch. He'd close the switch and current would take some time to build in the coil, he'd then open the knife switch and draw an impressive [and rather long lasting] arc as he separated the switch, about an inch arc and BRIGHT! looked like a flash going off. His point was that lethal voltages could be in very simple circuits powered only by 1.5 Vdc.
I vaguely recall some stuff from SciAm years ago.
