And if you don't want MS to push IE 7 on you, you must get and use IE7BlockerToolkit.EXE.

Actually, you must have used it a few months ago or IE 7 would already be pushed into your PCs.

So what'll be next then? The remittance of indulgences to the Gates foundation?

In the few other cases where websites demand IE, I've found that User Agent Switcher will allow FF to work by pretending to be IE. Unforunately, there are a few websites that just don't work at all, or have severely limited functionality, with FF.

Nope. My Update service has it listed as non essential, select electively.

Been running Vista for 7 months now, and xp at work with constant updated running, and it is listed that way there as well. Still running 6 on both.

Try again.

A new company is filled with the excitement of creativity and development. As they mature (and unfortunately start to burn out) they switch to seeking revenue via other means. Making it very succinct: Innovation morphs into Litigation.

My boss had IE7 pushed on him and then he couldn't get his online banking to work any more.

So he asked me how to install Firefox (showed him, added NoScript) and it all worked fine again.

Amusing that IE7 pushed someone away from M$ browser (which has no business being part of the OS).

Cheers
