** Banned in Sydney and most places.

Legacy systems from the 1950s and 60s may exist in a few homes.

** Very few homes have or are able to get 3 phase.

And in any case, this has NOTHING to do with the Q.

I've seen SPER just outside Nelbourne, they seem to have upgraded it to a single phase now.

** They make the rules - not me.

** No problem IF you have a 3-phase supply already.

The Q is ALL about getting it put on simply for such a heater that is yet to be installed.

Oh FFS, there is no impediment for people with four wires out the front. the only thing the electricty supplier wanted to know was the power needs of the device and when lead in was being done.
