Nobody has to #make# a fool of him. His foolishness is self-evident. It's just a shame for us who wish to discuss electronics.

I wish regulars would be a bit bolder with checking him but they seem frightened of him.

The best response may be no response. People who act up and do childish things like this are often socially deficient and thrive on attention, especially if they don't have to actually interact in person with those they annoy. I'm not fully convinced this was actually the work of Prong or SuperM or whatever, and there may be others forging nyms to confuse matters. Boastful and childish responses just litter the newsgroup with more crap. Better to remain silent, ignore the stupid stuff, and focus on the true intent of the group.

More on topic posts I guess. FLOODING the group with on topic electronic posts to drown out Prong and his friends might just work.

As a mere lurker maybe it's not for me to say.

I filtered him out as MassiveProng and the group read near perfect. I could follow discussions and everything . Then he changed his name to SuperM and it was the same or even worse.
