What, you can build coal power plants without expending co2? The co2 expended shipping materials around to build either a coal plant or lithium battery would be on par for either. Pumped hydro creates co2 when the vegetation is flooded. At least the battery and hydro don'tâĤ

Pumped hydro creates co2 when the vegetation is flooded.
At least the battery and hydro don't *continue* to create co2 after the installation is stabilised and operating...
