I have four 1000W PSUs which are about 20 - 25 years old.
One is made by Qualidyne, the others by LH Research (model SM24).
The ratings are 5V @ 150A, +12V @ 8A, -12V @ 8A, -5V @ 4A.
I also have spare parts for the SM24.
I know that the Qualidyne works (I used it until recently), but the others have been stored in cardboard boxes for 20 years.
If you could wire two in series, you might be able to start your car. :-)
