TDMA synchronization

You may find that information to be closely held. There doesn't seem to be a lot of cell phone type knowledge just out there for the world to see -- I think this is a consequence of the fact that there are only a few players, and they're all big.

I've done this sort of synchronization before, but it was for a piece of equipment that could work offline on segments of captured data. The algorithm ran on a PC, which is pretty distant from anything that you might embed into a 'normal' cell phone sort of app.

Tell us more about what you want to do, and someone may have some pointers, at least.

Not specifically TDMA, but FHSS radio systems have the same sorts of issues (they are basically two-dimensional TDMA where slots can lie in different frequency ranges as well as time spaces). There are NUMEROUS free FHSS implementations. Try for a start searching for "cc1101 mesh network" and you will find some relevant references.
