That guy is almost as annoying as the eevblog dude. I couldn't watch it all.

DiFi was a great mayor and senator; she is thoughtful and rational and gracious and should have been the first female President. I met her once, and she is real, wysiwyg.

The main problem with her is her total disregard fro gun rights. I bet if s he took away every gun in the US her bodyguards would still have guns. Beca use the government is above the law.

Despite the fact that she is pretty much scandal free, people with that muc h disrespect for the right - the RIGHT to keep and bear arms would not resp ect most of our other rights - RIGHTs.

In fact the laws in California bear that out. They tried to ban bulletproof vests. They wanted to make it a $ 1,000 fine and a fairly stiff jail term like DUI for a waiter(tress) to give you a straw in a restaurant without as king. They actually, for a time in a certain area had a fine of your lawn t urned brown and a fine for watering it. A company saw the opportunity and t ook to painting people's lawns because of it. That's probably her idea of s timulating the economy.

I don't want anyone who ever had anything to do with the government of Cali fornia to ever run the country. I wish the big one would happen so that at the very least they would have less electoral votes so they can't pollute t he oval office with their authoritarian - and progressive - IN AUTHORITARIA NISM ways, would be dictators.

Same with New York. Telling you what kind of oil to fry in, how big a soft drink can be. Who the f*ck do these people think they are ?

They'll eventually find out because people want the free country back.

Not to say that absolutely everything in California and New York is bad, bu t what isn't is not enough to make up for their attitude.

I guess you hated Ronald Reagan.

Sure, kill the people who you disagree with. That's what dictators do!

You know the attitude of 39 million people?

It's a beautiful morning here. The fog is burning off and it's already up to 60F. Maybe I'll take a walk in the canyon.

American's rights under the 4th, 5th, and 14th have been gone for quite a while now but all of a sudden government doesn't people owning AR-15s and now's the time to get upset? Little late, don't you think?

I don't hate. If I did it would preoccupy my time to the point where life w ould not be worth living. I have plenty to hate but I refuse to do it. It i s not hard once you know how.

I think one of the best things about Reagan is that he didn't do much. The government already does too much and they f*ck most of it up somehow. As fa r as a politician, he was an actor. That does not preclude his competence i n governing, but it is not exactly a good job reference. Getting the people out of Iran was more that his name wasn't Carter, not by any special talen ts. The Iranian students refused to release those people to Carter who had harbored that fugitive Shah they want to have a really intense talk with, a nd for good reason.

I didn't say kill them, I said to let it happen. There is a difference.

If 39 million people support a dictatorial regime they are still wrong beca use this is the united States. that is why it is a republic. It was designe d to keep people like Cuomo and Feinstein at bay so they could not take all the rights away. The supreme court is doing well, and I am not compelled b y law to bake a cake that says "Adam and Steve".

up to 60F. Maybe I'll take a walk in the canyon. "

Good, don't forget to enjoy life. All this political discussion is importan t, but if life is worth shit then why bother ?

Granting the nonsense that Cursitor Doom will take seriously - mostly from Russian Today and the Daily Mail, but he's not discriminating about his sou rces - Bitrex should be flattered to be excluded from the dismal ranks of t he codswallop merchants that Cursitor Doom will take seriously.

No doubt Cursitor Doom saw himself as delivering a put-down, but that's jus t one more area where his judgement is risibly poor.

One thing one definitely cannot do from a logical-consistency perspective is a) Claim the Soviets were "real socialists." b) Claim that socialism is the most wasteful and inefficient system ever designed. c) When it suits one's argument claim that the "real socialists" can sometimes be the most efficient and brilliant occupational and supply-chain management force the world has ever seen, able to occupy and reconstruct the infrastructure of whole nations to brand-new quality in a year using only starvation-rations forced labor.

It kind of has to be one thing or the other.

If some right wing lunatic thinks that they can smear Feinstein as some kin d of neocon, it says a lot more about the lunacy of the right-winger making the smear than it does about Feinstein's political position. Cursitor Doom - being a right-wing lunatic with even less brain than most of his ilk - h asn't noticed this.

What Cursitor Doom does take seriously - the Daily Mail and Russia Today - makes this more of a positive endorsement than any kind of criticism.

No doubt Cursitor Doom saw himself as delivering a put-down, but that's jus t one more area where his judgement is risibly poor.

Bitrex has in fact nailed one of Cursitor Doom's more persistent idiocies, but Cursitor Doom is either too dumb to notice that he has been caught pedd ling a logical contradiction, or convinced that his chosen audience is too dumb to have noticed. I favour the option that Cursitor Doom is too dumb to have noticed.
