There is more correlation between sunspot activity and the ended warming a few years ago, than between warming and CO2.

The aussies are shipping a few hundred million tons of coal to China every year. An internal CO2 tax was ludicrous.

The warming hasn't ended, the correlation is spurious and the logic is fatuous.
Australia was silly enough to elect a right-wing nitwit, and he's abolished the carbon tax - for now. He's remarkably unpopular for a recently elected prime minister, and his cabinet is pretty horrible too.
It's not quite List Pim Fortuyn, but it's a little too close for comfort.
