Some comments on leftists' impact on the common man, the classical conception of good and evil, and the ethos of socialism.
I'm sure that a film-makers comments on electronics would be equally interesting and equally worth of attention.

I'll connect the dots for you on that one. The idea that an ee can strike out on their own - have a business or consulting company, seems to be a strong element of the many people that post here. Socialists don't like people doing that, because you are not dependent on the centralized government enough. That's how it relates - socialism and entrepreneurial activity are antithetical. In socialist systems, people with degrees or important government jobs run things, but in 'capitalist' systems, anybody can become a success. Socialism is beset by regulations. Socialism creates scarcity, so you will be dependent on the state for a scarce resource. Socialism creates passivity and lack of ambition. And finally, socialism is good for the 1% rich, but capitalism creates wealth for the broad middle class. The film-maker also points out the devil worship at the heart of socialism, which is not commonly brought out. This is a fact, not an imagination.
I can well understand that people have different political views. And I can understand people having different religious views. But "devil worship at the heart of socialism - this is a fact" ? The guy in the article is completely off his head - it's paranoia and conspiracy theory combined with a hatred of humanity, religious fanaticism, and delusions of grandeur.
Round up all socialists, particularly those named "Brown", and get out the guillotine >:-} ...Jim Thompson

I can't address his mental state, but I can address the devil worship aspect. Get a copy of Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals." See who the book is dedicated to. This book has become a guide-book for Democrat activists - Hillary wrote her college thesis in admiration of him. The book is dedicated to Lucifer, and Alinsky admired his methods... I'm not a believer in the devil myself, on a daily basis, but it's an interesting fact, and the film maker is pointing that out.
I think you mean delusions of adequacy. A typical ultra right whinger.

Jim-out-of-touch-with-reality-Thompson is casual about removing heads. He h asn't used his for years, and doesn't understand what they are good for.

His work as film maker is:
2016: Obama's America, executive producer, co-director, co-writer, and star . Michael Moore Hates America, co-star.[98] America, executive producer, director, co-writer, and star, coming July 4, 2014That's it. These are not films in any sense of the word, they are political "spots."
Then the idiot has no formal education beyond a B.A. in English from Dart-m outh. He has no background in history, political science, sociology, psycho logy, law, economic, or many of the other areas of focus one might imagine as requirements for a learned analysis of the subject matter to which he pr etends great expertise and wisdom.
I'd be glad to show you personally my style, since you have an interest.

What is your education, Fred? Have you ever read Solzhenitsyn? I read him decades ago, and just pulled the Gulag book again. What history books do yo u like? ?
No, that's wrong. Socialism and *productivity* are antithetical.

There was a smiley on Jim's comment. I'm not sure what that particular smiley means, but I'm assuming that Jim was not being serious about the guillotine.
He is serious about viewing me as a "socialist", of course, since in his view Attila the Hun was a leftist weenie. :-)

Hatred of humanity? I don't see that; quite the opposite.

I have never heard of the book, nor am I interested in finding out more about it. But it's a giant irrational leap to go from "someone wrote a book that US Democrats like, and it has a "humorous" dedication to Lucifer" all the way to "devil worship is at the heart of socialism".
(And the US Democrats are not socialists in the eyes of a European - over here, they would be considered radically right-wing.)
I guarantee that I am quite happier than you'll ever hope to be... and I'm not a bit bored.
Socialist politicians are destroying the United States, and they must be stopped... the old-fashioned way if necessary >:-} ...Jim Thompson
