DRM with Firefox on Raspi

Beloved Community, ;-)

I have my Raspi 400 connected to my TV and wanted to watch one of my movies from Google Play. Usually I use my chromecast but my niece lend it for a nice evening with her girls.

But John Wayne and me did not meet yesterday. :-(

Raspi's Firefox said, there has to be one component of the browser updated. But it did not say what component and where to get it.

Can you help me and John to a beer tonight?

Thank you in advance for any hint.

Probably Widevine, see

formatting link
but that will only work with their supported default browser, Chromium, not Firefox.

Just to be extra clear, that whole page was dedicated to a solution script he made but now there's an official package and as he says at the top, you only need to do this:

sudo apt update sudo apt full-upgrade sudo apt install libwidevinecdm0

Only on Raspberry Pi OS (probably only the 32-bit version? Idk) and only for Chromium.

Thank you. I use 64 Bit, but have a card with 32 Bit also.
