it works except the color is shot. b/w, the picture is still clear. we replaced it.
what governmental body or charity in orange cty can accept it for proper breakdown or maybe even repair and reuse? thanks.

Check the yellow pages for electronics recycling facilities. If it is a large direct view set, you will likely only be charged $35-50 to leave it with them. If it is an RPTV, could run as high as $100 for you to have it properly dealt with.
