LF: DELL 32" LCD Television schematic model W3201C

Does anyone have a schematic diagram for a 32" DELL LCD television model W3201C. Problem is with the power supply or else the mainboard not working properly.

I found qty 2 transistors FET shorted, a screw caused a short and the fuse was blowing. I changed the transistors but the only that comes on on the main board is the SY5VDC LED the other 5 VDC and 12VDC LED do not come on.

I suspect either the power supply to be still faulty or else the mainboard do not send the proper turn on voltage.

When I plug it in, I hear the power supply oscillate, I see the SY5VDC LED lit on the mainboard , once I turn on the unit using the ON/OFF switch, I get that LED to come on but nothing else.

If I had a diagram I could trace those voltages to the power and out of the power supply.

Appreciate any help

In the absence of a diagram, I'd locate the PWM controller IC, assuming there is one, and download its datasheet. Then look for an on/off pin and work backwards from there.

You could also try finding out who actually built the TV by searching the following database for the FCC ID:

The ICs are all surface mount, tiny and can't tell the part number on them.

Thanks anyway, maybe I can find another unit evantually to compare with

What makes you think that Dell repairs them?

They don't, repair is done by board swapping until it works, defective boards are scrapped.
