JVC 3 disc CD mini stereo model:CA-MXK6,year:June 2001,CSA File No:LR38329 (Samsung),some days no CD play (cd spins and laser eye moves up & down 3 or 4 times) then moves to next CD and same thing while other days unit works fine.I cleaned the laser pickup but still. Anyone have any common repair tips?.Thanks.

Usually a bad laser pickup. A small tweak of the laser power adjustment on the pickup itself might get it going again for a while. The only alternative is replacement of the pickup.
Use only a small adjustment each direction. One way it won't play at all, the other way should get it going. Too large an adjustment will burn out the laser diode.
