I have an old NEC DS6000A S-VHS machine that needs new heads. I get horrible pictures on SP speed, a few streaks on LP, and no HiFi sound recording. I bought a new set of heads, but they turned out to be a bit different (incorrectly marked/packaged). I did search and apparently its for the DS6000G (German model). It is missing the flying erase head (and corresponding pins for that head) but looked almost the same. Would the two heads be interchangeable? The part numbers apparently are 82671AH1 for the 6000A, and 82B26AH1 for the 6000G.
