B-Board replacement for a crippled KZ-42TS1

If I can scrap the money together to get the B-Board from Sony directly, can a newbie tech successfully install it? Send help - can't watch non-HD anymore...

Probably yes, since it should be socketed which will make replacement easy. But the set would certainly require realignment after replacement.

Maybe you should try to spot the bad parts on the board, it's probably not that damaged so that a repair would not be sensible. Give it a try.
