Is there any "better" way to convert (educational) audio cassettes to CD other than recording them with waveplayer?

Probably everybody has their favorite software. I like Wave Repair.
If you're asking whether there's other or better software available, there's a number of packages that do quite well. I use and prefer Wave Corrector
There's also AudioGrabber at
Google for audio tape to cd software
Why don't you learn how to use Google, d*****ad.
