I am looking for the answers to a few questions concerning YAFFS. I am conducting a file system study so I will need documentation to back the answers to these questions up.
Can YAFFS and Can JFFS:
Control multiple volumes on multiple media?
Be run on a separate address space from the OS operating system?
Be certified to only write data to where it is told?
Be certified that it protects data in one partition from data in another partition?
Be certified that is reads data only from where it was told too?
Be licensed with no string attached?
Any help is much appreciated.
