uclinux for net-meeting-like embedded box

Aug 22, 2005 0 Replies

Dear all,

I am new to uclinux. Grateful if you can enlighten on the feasibility for building a custom-made hardware box to do 'net-meeting-like" application.

a) does uclinux runs application software that was developed for the 'normal' linux? Does porting or recompilation necessary?

b) any, best if open-sourced, "net-meeting like" applications softwrae. Voice over Intenet is minimum, Real-time white-board is better, Video is nice-to-have.

c) is samsung Arm7 S3C44B0X a good choice of lowest-cost hardware?

d) any suggestion for information links on the topic?

TIA
