FA: Harman Kardon HK300XM Cassette Deck Vintage

I bought this cassette deck new in 1980 for $395. Reluctantly, I have decided to sell it as it is time to downsize plus the wife weighed in on the matter. I pulled it out of the closet to get everything ready to sell. I plugged it in and listened to it for about an hour and then the motor that drives the capstan stopped working. Fast forward/rewind work fine, but the motor for the capstan starts and stops intermittently. So it does not play tapes now.

This unit has the Dolby HX "headroom-extension" system plus the normal Dolby-B noise reduction circuitry. It has left and right mic inputs, which is not too common anymore. Another cool feature is the automatic next track search. The tape counter does not work. The front is in nearly perfect condition as is the rest of the cabinet.
