Ok this request is not important anymore but WHY are Google Groups allowing a Swamp of post's that have nothing to do with Sci/ Electronics unless clothing & shoes are Scientific the Electronic's being LED'S built into footware.
Should this be somewhat correct then Google Groups are s**te.

are Usenet groups.
Because it doesn't cut into Google's profits. If you want to give Google an incentive to clean up their act, STOP accessing Usenet thru Google Groups.
In that case, stop using Google Groups. Get yourself a REAL newsreader; get yourself a REAL newsgroups provider; get yourself a local proxy to filter out the junk.
