I recently came across a Denon DVD-1500 DVD unit from Ebay that has no audio during playback. The video looks excellent, and when increasing the volume on the TV monitor, there is no hint of audio. Could the audio be turned off somehow within the system setup or does this indicate component failure on the audio output?
