Someday we'll look back on all this and plough into a parked car.

You need to do more sit-ups.

But to cut away from the cheap joke, yes, wheel sensors would certainly be needed.

You can feel it. Let the force be with you, transmitted through your thighs.

A Pan Am 727 flight waiting for start clearance in Munich overheard the
following:
Lufthansa (in German): "Ground, what is our start clearance time?"
Ground (in English): "If you want an answer you must speak in English."
Lufthansa (in English): "I am a German, flying a German aeroplane, in Germany.
Why must I speak English?"
Unknown voice from another plane (in a beautiful British accent): "Because you
lost the bloody war."

Heh heh--- I hate exercise. [Some time ago I was] am already pushing 40.

Seriously: Give me control over ABS any day. And don't give me any of this commie front wheel drive crap either! ;-)

Snark.

I disagree. Nobody can brake as well without ABS. Even if your foot could move that quickly, you cannot adjust individual braking pressures to each wheel without ABS. In my Honda CRV 4wd with ABS, I can slam on the brakes while going round a sharp corner. No skidding, no change of direction.

I prefer 4 wheel drive. Front wheel drive is pathetic (I have one car of each), I keep wheel spinning when I'm trying to exit a junction! And I'm not even trying to.
