Hi folks. Long time no see, last posting was around 2007 IIRC.
Does anyone stateside know a source for APDs of the P500-8 variety please? they are manufactured by First Sensor in Germany but are also seemingly available online although no-one wants to ship to Guernsey for some strange reason.
These are old but effective a bit like Russian Gunn diodes, for my purposes it needs to detect scintillation from two different materials and the light decay rate of each with a constant temperature should let me determine which isotope is being detected.
