spartan 3E starter kit : usb/jtag write cmdbuffer failed

I am testing uclinux with microblaze (as explain in

formatting link
on spartan 3E starter kit (digilent rev. D) and have configuration nightmare.

tools : ISE 81 EDK 81 / window XP (Xilinx EDK 8.1.02 Build EDK_I.20.4) PC : usb host controler is a via vt6212

I can download design to fpga (i.e. implementation/donload.bit, and numerous other .bit files) but I can't download uclinux image into ram : "write cmdbuffer failed"

I already test with 3 other usb cables, an other usb host controler (I had to buy a new one because with the one integrated to asus mb K8VSE, Impact didn't succeed even to enumerate devices on board) ... any ideas ...

(I hope ISE/EDK 82i I am dowloading has a patch...)
