I've recently been in the market for a budget logic analyser (sub £1000) and had difficulty finding anything (even used) i didnt want
80channels but i did want lots of sample memory. Anyway i finally found a fantastic product called the LuLa USB Logic Analyser and i thought i would let the world know as it doesnt get many mentions!
Firstly, i am not associated with the manufacturer at all, i am just a very happy customer!
the unit is a usb, PC based logic analyser, 16 channels, 200MHZ max sampling rate and with a 1meg buffer per channel. it rocks. best of all its just £750 ($1000)

i hope this doesn't sound too much like an advert, but Eduard at jobmatch has been great, even adding features to the software at my request! its not often that you get really good service from a company.
Hope that helps someone out there looking for a logic analyser.
