Mazda3 Can bus messages

I am interested in interfacing with the CAN bus on the OBD-II system on my 2005 Mazda3. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find out the message formats used by the Mazda3 can system, or what standards, if any, the messages confom to. I have found several SAE and ISO standards documents, but no indication of which ones are used in the Mazda3 or if it is a proprietary system. Thank you!

If it's ODB-II, many engine control messages are in a generic format, for instance, trouble codes.

The CAN bus tends to carry manufacturer-specific messages, often used for non-engine tasks, like rolling the windows down, or controlling the radio.
