Somehow the "LPC" (Low Pin Count*) moniker does not seem appropriate to a component having in excess of 300 "pins".
*okay, they've revised it to include Low Power Consumption and Low Part Cost, so maybe 2 out of 3.Best regards, Spehro Pefhany

You don't say what it is you want besides floating point. Check out Freescale's new i.MX31 parts, 533 MHz ARM11 with vector floating point, if you want performance and lots of peripherals.

And Low Part Count They get lots on one chip so you use fewer chips.
Originally it was Low Pin Count when the launched the LPC700 and LPC900 ranges

Ouch...

This eval Kit will be a lot less expensive
An Schwob.
What exactly does that imply? The power consumption levels that were reported were extremely (that is, unbelievably) low for a processor with a FPU.
