We are writing OPC Server application which should support multi-drop connection over one serial line. We are writing one for MODBUS and another OPC server for HART protocol. We are using ICONICS toolkit to develop the application. I need a help tp understand how do ICONICS support multi-drop connection. Could anybody has idea?
Are there any special case that I need to taken care when we target Multi-drop?

I don't quite understand why you are asking here - have Iconics refused to help - is their documentation no good ? I'm asking because I was slighty interested in their product so I'd like to know how they respond when asked for help.

We are service firm working on the product for our customer. Hence we do not have access to Iconics. We have requested access to Iconics through the login name. My feedback about ICONICS is excellent. By design, they support multi-drop. We have modified our code slightly to support point-to-point communication instead of multi-drop. Now things are going smooth again..
