Embedded Components has created a new series of online lectures with integrated discussion/blog on real-time embedded development. This new distance learning portal is free to engineers who would like to learn and commutate with others including the sponsors of each lecture. The first three lectures are on: real-time hardware/software design (using Actors), developing real-time software on constrained systems using rate-monotonic analysis (RMA), and an introduction to native file sharing across multiple embedded and desktop operating systems using the common internet file system (CIFS).
