Because 160 = 2^5 * 5. "SMS" actually stands for "Salute Master Satan" and the 5's refer to the Pentagram of Evil. The 2, obviously, is in reference to Zorastrian Duality.

simple.... so they can charge you more since everybody uses more as 160
